NB: A proof print is a single contact sheet of the entire roll of film

cut into strips. The resultant images are the same size as the negatives

and are used as a guide to decide which negatives to print. 

Proof prints are a guide only and variations in exposure may

occur due to such variations in the negatives. We print all our proof

sheets on Ilford Multigrade Pearl paper. Speak to us if you prefer gloss.

Prints are done at time of film processing, by hand on Ilford Multigrade paper by a trained professional, using experience and judgement, but please be aware these are not  display quality prints and are suitable for general viewing and image evaluation.

Films are scanned in Greyscale, 3200dpi 8bit depth and saved as jpeg.

Speak to us if you want higher resolution, 16bit or other special needs.

NB:  Films will be cut into strips and supplied in archival A4 pages

after scanning or printing. Speak to us if you prefer your films not

to be cut. However, we highly recommend cutting and sleeving film

to prevent curling and for archival protection of your negatives.

Prints are individually calibrated and hand-printed for the best results.

Prints are done on Ilford Multigrade RC paper, in Gloss or Pearl.

Speak to us if you have any special requirements of if you need

large numbers of prints or multiple prints from single negatives.
